About
Isaac is completing general surgery residency with the University of Tennessee Chattanooga College of Medicine at Erlanger Medical Center, while building AI tools for physician workflows. His work blends systems thinking, clinical operations, and software design to support accurate documentation and timely decision-making.
Recent efforts include translating hospital policy documentatoin into trauma decision support, structuring operative notes for CPT review, and mentoring teams on responsible AI integration. Isaac is motivated by tools that keep clinicians focused on patients, not paperwork.
Journey
From across Tennessee, each stop reinforced a commitment to equitable access, data-guided care, and mentorship.

Hometown
Raised in Memphis, a city ridden with persistent health inequities, with a father who worked in law enforcement, and mentors who first welcomed me into a cardiac surgery shadowing experience at 19.

Undergraduate Studies
Built a foundation in diagnostics, physiology, and patient advocacy while serving Memphis communities through hospital-based mentorship programs.

Research Gap Year
Collaborated on ex-vivo porcine liver and kidney transplantation models, streamlining perfusion data capture and supporting translational manuscripts.

Medical School
Focused on surgery, informatics, and global health electives while rotating in academic and community hospitals across Tennessee.

General Surgery Residency
Training at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga as part of the University of Tennessee Chattanooga program, embedding decision support and documentation integrity into perioperative care.
